An absolute necessity on all raised 4WD's is the Adjustable Panhard Rod. Designed to correct axle alignment, the fitment of an Adjustable Panhard Rod eliminates potential contact between tyre and body, and improves handling issues on vehicles lifted 2"+. All Roadsafe Adjustable Panhard Rods are Heavy Duty, single thread off car adjustable and come complete with bushings and steering damper mounting brackets where applicable.
Roadsafe’s range of Extended Brake Lines are available in either standard or braided format. Extended Brake Lines are required if you have a suspension lift over 3”. When you lift 3” or higher, you will find that your original brake lines are fully stretched on full droop, which results in line fatigue and eventual breakage resulting in brake failure. Roadsafe Extended Brake Lines are available for 3-4” and 5-6” lifted vehicles. The reason for the two sizes is so there is not too much slack in the lines on the smaller lifts, which can catch and tear.
Tow Points have been designed on vehicles without Bull Bars. In some circumstances, the bull bar mounting bolts/brackets may utilise the same chassis holes that are utilised for Tow Point fitment. Most of the time, there is a fix around this - however, in some instances where Bull Bars have been fitted, it precludes the opportunity to fit the Tow Points without major modifications. Where possible, we maintain a list of Bull Bar fitments which can be found at 4WH.
Contained within the Roadsafe Rubber Bushing program (including the Panhard Rod, Trailing Arm & Radius Arm bushings listed previously) is an extensive range of vehicle specific rubber Strut Mounts to suit a wide variety of applications.
The Roadsafe Rubber Strut Mounts are manufactured from natural rubber and offer increased NVH performance and improved wear characteristics. In addition to the ability to absorb minor vibrations and noise from neighbouring suspension parts, natural rubber bushings are generally noise-free in their own operation - when in good condition!
Roadsafe offers a Heavy Duty Rear Recovery Tow Hitch featuring Twin mounting holes for either vertical or horitonzal mounting depending on recovery angle. Destruciton tested to WLL 5000kgs, and designed to suit a Heavy Duty tow bar with 50x50mm tow hitch (Please ensure the towing system is rated and designed for this application). The Recovery Hitch itself is rated at WLL 5000kgs, and is recommended for use with a 4700kgs bow shackle.
